What this structure is
Large-format means the backdrop becomes a major part of the temporary event structure. Width, height and sail area grow together, so towers, returns, bases, braces and attachment zones must be planned as one system rather than extended from a small media wall.
Wide and tall backdrop support for 30 ft, 40 ft, 50 ft and larger event branding or scenic installations. It may be assembled from box, rectangular, triangular, ladder or another compatible profile according to the final structural concept; those profiles are not interchangeable by appearance.
Size guide
Useful starting sizes include 30 × 15 ft, 40 × 20 ft and 50 × 25 ft. Also record stage width, screen opening, side-wing widths, print panel seams and the total footprint behind the visible face. Larger builds are reviewed project by project.
Panelisation and installation sequence matter at this scale. Artwork may be divided for handling and controlled tension, while LED and scenic layers need independent access. The finished face should remain visually aligned without concealing essential connections or inspection points.

CK approaches the backdrop as a complete event elevation—not a banner added after the truss is erected.

Printed skins, scenic panels, LED walls, drapes and side returns change wind action. The complete visible face, permeability, attachment pattern, ground, foundations or ballast, bracing and exposure must be considered together.
Project setup should identify weather monitoring, operating limits, decision authority and the response if conditions deteriorate. Published sizes on this page are capability and budgeting references—not structural approval.

Common setup sizes include 30 × 15 ft, 40 × 15 ft, 40 × 20 ft, 50 × 20 ft, 50 × 25 ft+. These are enquiry starting points, not pre-approved packages; the complete arrangement must suit the site, supported elements and available footprint.
Use RM 5,000–RM 20,000+ as an approximate early budget. The written quotation changes with dimensions, structure type, bases or towers, ballast, transport, labour, rental duration, supported production and site requirements.
Outdoor suitability requires review of the complete wind-facing area, ground, supports, ballast or foundations, weather exposure and operating response. Indoor equipment is not made outdoor-ready merely by adding weights.
Send the event date, venue pin, visible and overall dimensions, stage or screen plan, material or equipment details, indoor or outdoor status, ground surface, access and approved installation and dismantling times.
Delivery, installation, handover and dismantling can be included. Lighting, LED, print, scenic production, power, operators, hoists, ballast and engineering should be confirmed line by line in the quotation.
