These answers explain the normal setup process. A written quotation and site-specific review remain the final reference for your event.
How much is truss rental in Malaysia?
Small backdrop structures may begin around RM800, stage and LED frames around RM2,000–RM6,000, and large outdoor backdrop, ground-support or roof work from roughly RM6,000 upward. These are setup references, not fixed packages.
Can CK build a 50 × 25 ft outdoor backdrop?
Yes. CK handles outdoor event backdrop truss through 50 × 25 ft. Larger custom widths or heights can also be considered after reviewing the site, structural concept, wind-facing materials, ground, equipment, access and operating plan.
What is a layered event backdrop?
A layered backdrop separates print, scenic panels, LED, lighting and foreground portals into coordinated depths. The design must retain rear access, emergency routes, cable paths and inspection access.
Which truss is best for an LED screen?
Box truss, a goalpost or ground-support system may be considered depending on panel model, screen size, total weight, hanging or stacking method, rear access and environment.
What information is needed for pricing?
Event date, venue pin, visible and overall dimensions, print or scenic materials, supported equipment and weights, indoor/outdoor status, ground, access, setup and dismantling time.
Can I rent truss without installation?
The supply model depends on the equipment and risk. Complete structures are normally quoted with suitable installation and dismantling scope.
Does a truss price include lighting, LED or print?
Not automatically. Ask whether print, scenic work, fixtures, screen panels, controller, power, rigging hardware, motors, operators and transport are included.
Can truss be used outdoors in rain?
Rain is only one factor. Wind, lightning, ground, drainage, ballast, backdrop or roof area and operating limits must also be addressed.
How early should I book?
Book after the venue and date are known. Large, outstation, outdoor or engineered structures need more lead time than compact indoor frames.
What happens after setup?
The complete structure should be checked before handover. Access beneath or around it may need control, and longer events may require ongoing inspection.
