How to measure it
Record grid width, depth and trim height; tower count and footprint; roof, banner, lighting, PA and LED loads; floor or ground capacity; and access for assembly. The usable stage opening is smaller than the total system footprint.
Event structure guide · Updated September 2026
Horizontal production grid carried by towers, bases, sleeve blocks and hoists instead of venue roof points.

What this structure is
Ground support transfers a production grid into towers and foundations when the venue roof is unavailable or unsuitable. Sleeve blocks and hoists may be used to raise the assembled grid under a controlled erection method.
Horizontal production grid carried by towers, bases, sleeve blocks and hoists instead of venue roof points. It may be assembled from box, rectangular, triangular, ladder or another compatible profile according to the final structural concept; those profiles are not interchangeable by appearance.
Size guide

Towers, bases, outriggers, hoists and grid sections belong to one compatible arrangement. Outdoors, coverings and wind can create significant tower bending, so the project cannot be treated as an indoor grid with extra ballast guessed on site.

Requires a controlled footprint and project-specific setup, especially outdoors or when banners and roofs add wind area.

Why CK Event Management
Outdoor backdrops through 50 × 25 ft, with larger projects assessed individually.
Truss, print, scenic, LED and foreground planes are coordinated as one composition.
Stage, screen, lighting, sound, access and event operations can share one brief.
Delivery, installation, handover, dismantling and collection can be planned together.
Frequently asked questions
Common setup sizes include 6 × 4 m, 8 × 6 m, 10 × 8 m, Custom production grid. These are enquiry starting points, not pre-approved packages; the complete arrangement must suit the site, supported elements and available footprint.
Use RM 4,000–RM 15,000+ as an approximate early budget. The written quotation changes with dimensions, structure type, bases or towers, ballast, transport, labour, rental duration, supported production and site requirements.
Outdoor suitability requires review of the complete wind-facing area, ground, supports, ballast or foundations, weather exposure and operating response. Indoor equipment is not made outdoor-ready merely by adding weights.
Send the event date, venue pin, visible and overall dimensions, stage or screen plan, material or equipment details, indoor or outdoor status, ground surface, access and approved installation and dismantling times.
Delivery, installation, handover and dismantling can be included. Lighting, LED, print, scenic production, power, operators, hoists, ballast and engineering should be confirmed line by line in the quotation.
