What this structure is
An oversized backdrop begins where the brief exceeds the normal 50 × 25 ft setup reference or needs a multi-bay scenic elevation. It is developed as a custom temporary structure with defined structural, production, graphic and operational responsibilities.

It may be assembled from box, rectangular, triangular, ladder or another compatible profile according to the final structural concept; those profiles are not interchangeable by appearance.
Size guide
Provide the visible artwork elevation and the full outer envelope in metric and feet, plus stage and screen openings, side returns, layer depths, backstage routes and total site footprint. Explain why the extra width or height is needed so the concept can be tested against sightlines and site constraints.
CK can assess structures beyond 50 × 25 ft rather than forcing the brief into a standard package. The route from concept to quotation may require drawings, design development, manufacturer data, site information, engineering input, transport setup and an agreed weather-management process.

Oversized backdrops should not be sold as standard inventory packages. Feasibility, engineering pathway, logistics, weather operations and installation sequence must be established first.

Printed skins, scenic panels, LED walls, drapes and side returns change wind action. The complete visible face, permeability, attachment pattern, ground, foundations or ballast, bracing and exposure must be considered together.
Project setup should identify weather monitoring, operating limits, decision authority and the response if conditions deteriorate. Published sizes on this page are capability and budgeting references—not structural approval.

Use Project quotation as an approximate early budget. The written quotation changes with dimensions, structure type, bases or towers, ballast, transport, labour, rental duration, supported production and site requirements.
Outdoor suitability requires review of the complete wind-facing area, ground, supports, ballast or foundations, weather exposure and operating response. Indoor equipment is not made outdoor-ready merely by adding weights.
Send the event date, venue pin, visible and overall dimensions, stage or screen plan, material or equipment details, indoor or outdoor status, ground surface, access and approved installation and dismantling times.
Delivery, installation, handover and dismantling can be included. Lighting, LED, print, scenic production, power, operators, hoists, ballast and engineering should be confirmed line by line in the quotation.
