Truss selection cannot be separated from load position, span, support conditions, connections, foundations, weather and competent inspection.
Outdoor structures
Wind changes the problem.
Roof sheets, banners, LED walls and drapes can create major wind forces. Required ballast is determined by the complete structure and structural report—not a generic weight copied from another event.
Weather monitoring, operating limits and a documented response plan should be agreed before use.

Check the complete erected structure.
Manufacturer guidance calls for a competent erection check covering foundations, baseplates, member positions, connections, pins, bolts, supported services and the complete arrangement. Longer installations should be inspected at an appropriate frequency while in use.
Damaged, distorted or incorrectly connected components must not be hidden by décor or accepted because the event is about to begin.
